Documents you'll need to apply

To apply for a loan, your lender needs a clear picture of your employment and financial history. Gathering these ahead of time keeps your pre-qualification moving quickly, with no back-and-forth delays.

Why we ask for all of this upfront

Your lender will request a credit report and verify everything on your application against these documents. The more complete your file is on day one, the faster your pre-qualification - and the fewer surprises later in the process. If something on this list doesn't apply to you (like a co-borrower or condo association), just skip it.
